A. Checchi Collection

Arturo Checci was born in Fucecchio, in the year 1886 and, after attending the Florentine Academy, was appointed the post of professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia. The collection is open on request during the opening hours of the Library Foundation and the \ "rooms " Indro Montanelli (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 15 to 19, except during the months of July and August) . It has a wide selection of paintings by Fondazione Montanelli Bassi. Among those on display are: Camera Movement (1913) Zena Hat (1931), The family room (1916), Piazza Donatello
