Beautiful Colorful Place
Located behind the town of Purmamarca, about 75 million year ago, there are some marine sediments from the lake and river that were deposited there for centuries. The Hill of Seven Colours Purmamarca appears as a wonderful backdrop background. Its sedimentary layers of different shades radiate a magnificent polychrome and constitute a major natural attractions in northwestern Argentina. It is unique in the region and the rest of the country. The color combinations are what are really special about the place. In its vicinity can be made exciting photographic safaris, hiking, horseback riding and even cycling.
