Plaza and Carnation Revolution
This square is named after April 25 when one of the most important festivals in Portugal is celebrated, it marks the Carnation Revolution of 1974 that ended the Salazar dictatorship that had existed since 1926. In this square is the escalator that leads to the quiet and serene Fishermen beach (Praia de Pescadores). The data are from the Municipality of Albufeira.
