1000 Islands Kayaking

1000 Islands Kayaking is a tour company and kayak rental agency operating in the Thousand Islands region. We took a full day kayaking tour with them, and it was definitely the best way to see the area. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the local environment. She guided us around all of the islands, pointing out wildlife, structures, and telling us about the local history. We saw a shipwreck, turtles piled on top of logs, and paddled through marshy spots. One of the highlights was kayaking to Half Moon Bay, an isolated place that is home to an outdoor cathedral where church services are held outside.
